Corticalis AS Showcases Innovative Research at EAO Milan

We are delighted to announce that our industrial PhD student, Angela De Lauretis, presented her groundbreaking work at the prestigious EAO (European Association for Osseointegration) conference in Milan.

Angela’s research—“A Comparative Evaluation of Chemical Decontamination Products on the Cleanliness of Dental Implant Surfaces Using a Dental Pellicle Model”—offers valuable insights into optimizing dental implant surface hygiene, a critical step in enhancing peri-implant health and patient outcomes.

This innovative study compared multiple decontamination solutions and showcased the effectiveness of a novel hydrogen peroxide-activated hydrogel developed by Corticalis AS. The findings underscore its potential in combating biofilm formation and maintaining implant cleanliness.

We are proud of Angela’s significant contributions to peri-health technology and her role in driving advancements in periodontal health research. Special thanks to Norges forskningsråd for their support through the Industrial PhD scheme and DEBRIGEL project funding.
